No.8 Atlantic Mews
|
 |
|
|
St Agnes |
| No.8 is a new house in a small, quiet,
development in St Agnes on the North Cornwall Coast. The house has both
a front and rear garden which our guests are free to make use of as
they will. |
St
Agnes Village is a living and active community, which has not sold
its soul to tourism. Atlantic Mews is in the Wheal Kitty area of
the village, which is about 1000 metres from the beaches, and 500
metres from the edge of the clifftop.
The village is well served by
eating and drinking establishments, and No.8 is about only 300 metres
to three of these hostelries.
The accommodation for our
guests consists of two rooms, one with an ensuite shower room and the
other with a private bathroom. Both of the bedrooms have double beds - we
have no single bedded accommodation. |

Each room has tea making facilities, hair dryer and a TV with freeview and a DVD player.
We
pride ourselves on our Cornish Breakfasts. We try to ensure that as
much as possible of our breakfast fare is supplied by the local farmers
and the local shops - we can even serve TEA grown in Cornwall!
We believe that this ensures
not only good quality products, but the animals supplying your bacon,
sausages and eggs have had a reasonable life before arriving at our
breakfast table.
|
|
These local products are not encased in the multi-packaging which
supermarkets insist on using, but in simple packaging methods of the
old fashioned butchers and greengrocers.
Breakfast is served in our conservatory, shown below.
|
If,
however, you have any special dietary needs, then we will do our very
best to accommodate your wishes. It may be helpful if you could
let us know what these are at the time of booking.
We have a limited amount of designated car parking for our guests as the Mews car parking spaces are allocated to each house.
Our" how to find us" web page indicates the car parking position.
Smoking
is not allowed in the house, for the safety and comfort of all, but
guests are most welcome to use the back garden to satisfy their
craving!!! (text by an ex-smoker)
